Terms of Service

Effective 2026 · Contact: listenartapp@gmail.com

The short version

Listen Art is a free, non-profit audio guide. There is nothing to buy, no advertising, and no subscription. These terms exist because the sign-in screen refers to them, and you are entitled to read what you are agreeing to.

Using the app

  • You may use Listen Art for your own, personal, non-commercial listening.
  • You sign in with Apple or Google. An account is tied to one device at a time; signing in elsewhere ends the earlier session.
  • The audio, text and routes are ours to license, not yours to redistribute, re-upload, or use to build another product.
  • Please do not try to break, overload, or work around the app or the servers behind it.

What the guides are, and are not

The guides are written and narrated independently. Listen Art is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated together with any museum it covers.

The narration is produced with synthetic voices. Routes, room directions and opening details describe the museum as we understood it when the guide was written — museums rearrange galleries, lend works out, and close rooms without telling us. Treat the route as a suggestion, and the museum’s own signage as the authority.

Artwork images come from various sources under various licences; each one is credited on the Attributions page.

Your account

You can delete your account and everything attached to it at any time, from inside the app or from the Delete account page. Deletion is permanent. We may close an account that is being used to redistribute the guides or to attack the service.

No warranty

Listen Art is provided as it is, free of charge, with no guarantee that it will be available, accurate, or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from using it — including a visit that did not go the way the guide described.

Changes

These terms may change as the app changes; the effective date above moves when they do. Listen Art is a personal, non-commercial project and may be changed or discontinued. Turkish law applies.
