Who we are

Listen Art is a free audio-guide app for museums, developed by Berk Sırmaçek.

What we collect

• Account info: your name and email address when you sign in with Apple or Google — used solely to create your account and attach your downloads to it.
• Identifiers: a user ID and a device ID, kept to match downloaded guides to your device.
• Usage and diagnostics: anonymous events about how the app is used — which guide was opened, whether a download finished, which errors occurred. These are not linked to your account or your identity, and are used only to fix problems and improve the app. You can turn them off at any time in Settings.
• Crash reports: if the app stops unexpectedly, a technical report of the failure — what went wrong and where in the code — is sent so it can be fixed. It carries no account details and nothing you typed, and it is governed by the same Settings switch as the usage statistics above.

What we do NOT collect

Location, contacts, photos, microphone, advertising identifiers. The app contains no ads and no tracking: nothing you do is followed across other apps or websites, and nothing is ever sold or shared with advertisers. The usage statistics described above are anonymous, stored in the EU, and can be switched off in Settings.

How your data is used

Only for app functionality: keeping you signed in and managing your entitlements (all guides are currently free) and downloads. Your data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with third parties for marketing.

Where it lives

Data is stored on our providers' secure servers (Railway — database, Cloudflare — content delivery). Usage statistics are processed by PostHog on servers in the European Union. Sign-in verification happens on Apple's and Google's own infrastructure; your password never reaches us.

Retention & deletion

Account data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data instantly inside the app (Account → Delete account permanently).

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
